七夕 (Tanabata)

Today 7th of July is 七夕-Tanabata in Japan.

It celebrates the meeting 2 lovers at the Milky Way, they are allowed to meet only once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month. Japanese celebrate on the normal calendar day instead of the lunar calendar. Chinese have the similar story too.

In present-day Japan, people generally celebrate this day by writing wishes, sometimes in the form of poetry, small pieces of paper, and hanging them on bamboo, sometimes with other decorations.

This is my Tanabata wishes - "Hope to be able to master walking soon".

My wish is almost coming true, I am working hard on it.
Silly Mummy spend money to buy walker for me but I prefer the stool !!
