Bon Odori (盆踊り, meaning simply Bon dance) is an event held during Obon. It is celebrated as a reminder of the gratefulness one should feel toward one's ancestors. Obon is something like the 7th month ghost festival in Singapore.
There was a tiny Bon Odori festival near our house on Sun, Daddy brought me there to dance. Since I can't even stand yet, I can only dance with my hands.
Summer in Japan has lots of festival, waiting Daddy to bring me to watch 花火(hanabi) fireworks.
