I am 4 months old
Today is my 4th month into this world. I have learnt a lot of things in these four months. Nowadays, my days are pretty standard and boring. I wake up early in the morning around 5am, Mummy will feed me milk immediately. Depending on her mood, she may wake up and play with me. Else, Mummy will ask my toys to play with me, usually is the Gym.
Or she will ask me to read my books myself.
Sometimes, when there is no toys or books, I have to play with my own feet.
When Mummy or Daddy finally wake up, I have to do my morning exercise. Neck exercise !
By 7:30am, everyone will be dressed up and ready to go to school and work. Daddy will cycle me to school. In school, I will sleep, eat and play with teacher and my classmates. By 6:00pm, Mummy will come and pick me up from school. If Daddy comes home early, both Mummy and Daddy will bath me. Then Mummy will put me to sleep, usually I sleep very early at around 8pm. That's my usual daily life.

Tick Tac Toe
I went for my very first injection today. Well, is not the FIRST actually, is the first 18 injections. Yes, 18 needles went into my arms today. I was crying and screaming away, don't call me a cry baby or tell me boy should be brave cannot shed tears. I am sure none of you ever had 18 needles injection before, I am sure you will also cry like me. Even daddy was freaking out seeing the way they push in the needles. You can see the doctor was pushing the needles in so hard like pushing a stamp on the paper trying to get all the ink out.
Sorry, papa didn't realise that video can't be taken as portrait view, so you need to turn your monitor to portrait to view ! This video is as chaotic as the real thing itself.
Don't you think the mark look like the stamp mark on pig skin ??

Sumo Baby
Today, I went to the city office for my 3rd month checkup. When I arrived there together with Mummy and Daddy, we had to go to this classroom. There were at least about 50 other babies around the same 'age' as me. Mummy kept looking around at all the babies, and kept telling Daddy that I look like a Sumo Baby compared to other, she did found one or two other babies who are bigger than me. So I think I am a lower ranking "Ozeki" and they are the higher ranking "Yokozuna". While waiting for my turn to weight myself, the baby before me seems bigger than me, Mummy was telling me, he should be heavier than me, that baby's weight was 7.3kg. My turn came, and Mummy got a shock when she saw the machine went up to 7.68kg !! Some mummies started to comment that I am very big and was surprised with my weight and kind of pity Mummy that she had to carry such a heavy me. Seems like I might be a "Yokozuna" after all. : )
I might have win in term of weight, but Mummy was kind of unhappy that I am so slow in my neck development. Most of the other babies' neck are already firm and fixed, mine is still wobbly. She even saw some babies flipping themselves on the bed. I was upset about Mummy's complains that I am just a fat, over-size, Sumo Baby. I couldn't sleep after I came home. When I was alone in the bedroom, I secretly practise flipping myself. I tried a few times to flip, I finally make it !!! Yeah !!! But Ooops... I can't turn myself back, I was like a Sumo who got flipped down in a lost battle !!! I got no choice but to cry for help !!! Mummy and Daddy came running in and were shocked to see me like an overturn tortoise. They laughed at me for a while, before they realised they need to help me to turn back. I really don't understand what they want, first complained about my slow development, when I finally did it and prove it to them within a few hours, they laughed at me, why they didn't praise me ?

Busy Busy Busy ....
My dear fans, I have been very busy lately, sorry for not updating the blog regularly. Nowadays, kids have so much programs and enrichment classes. I am no different, I am so busy. Mummy and Daddy have been trying to make me study, watch VCD, and now even learn to play piano.
This is currently my favourite book, "Hide and Seek Forest". Thank you Joseph Kor Kor for the book. I am trying to read to my good friend bear-bear, but he doesn't seems to be interested.

I hear thunder, I hear thunder
Last Sunday, it rained cats and dogs. Daddy was so amused by the heavy rain, that he stood by the window watching the rain fly by. There were lighting and thunder non-stop for almost 30 minutes, and one moment, there was a blackout too. Mummy was terrified by the lighting and thunder, we were both hugging each other whenever lighting struck. Daddy said I was naughty, that's why thunder god is angry and making noise. Really ? But teacher said I was a very good boy these few days, cos I didn't cry in school.
Dear thunder god, pls don't punish me, I am a good boy. Being tam chiah (greedy) is not naugthy, right ?

100th Day
I am 100 days old already, that sound very old, right ? In Japan, when a baby becomes 100th day old, there is a ceremony call Okui-Hajime, which means 'Start to eat'. Yes, I can start to eat !! Babies are suppose to get to eat fish, miso soup, red beans rice and pebbles, huh ... pebbles is edible ?? The ceremony is to symbolise that babies will have enough food to eat for the rest of their life and pebbles means that babies can bite hard things in the future. Eating is very important, I must have enough to eat for the rest of my life, lucky Mummy did a small ceremony, I got to eat fish !!! It was supposed to be some expensive fish call "Tai" that cost Y10,000 over but Mummy gave me the cheapest fish available, 'Sanma', which cost Y100 only !!! I am now so worried about my future, since Mummy didn't get the expensive fish for me, hope I will still have lots to eat in the future ?!!
I think there is a similar ceremony in Chinese too right ? Where I can get to eat chicken drumbstick, right ?? Can someone remind Mummy when is that ? I just want to make sure I am covered for both in Japan and Singapore. Looks like Daddy is right to call me Tam-Chiah (greedy). Hmmm... should I order KFC for the chicken drumstick ceremony ??

Another PlayMate !
Guess what ! I continue to explore myself, I found another thing I can play with, this time with Mummy's approval. My tongue ! Mummy and I started to have this baby tongue conversation. She will show me what I can do with my tongue, I just pretend to play with her. Shh... don't tell Mummy, when she is not looking, I have been secretly sucking my thumb.
