100th Day

I am 100 days old already, that sound very old, right ? In Japan, when a baby becomes 100th day old, there is a ceremony call Okui-Hajime, which means 'Start to eat'. Yes, I can start to eat !! Babies are suppose to get to eat fish, miso soup, red beans rice and pebbles, huh ... pebbles is edible ?? The ceremony is to symbolise that babies will have enough food to eat for the rest of their life and pebbles means that babies can bite hard things in the future. Eating is very important, I must have enough to eat for the rest of my life, lucky Mummy did a small ceremony, I got to eat fish !!! It was supposed to be some expensive fish call "Tai" that cost Y10,000 over but Mummy gave me the cheapest fish available, 'Sanma', which cost Y100 only !!! I am now so worried about my future, since Mummy didn't get the expensive fish for me, hope I will still have lots to eat in the future ?!!

I think there is a similar ceremony in Chinese too right ? Where I can get to eat chicken drumbstick, right ?? Can someone remind Mummy when is that ? I just want to make sure I am covered for both in Japan and Singapore. Looks like Daddy is right to call me Tam-Chiah (greedy). Hmmm... should I order KFC for the chicken drumstick ceremony ??

Waves more to Mummy or sometimes Daddy that you want to be Tam-Chiah! In no time you may even look bigger than your friend Jin-Kun!!
