USA - San Francisco

We drove a long long way from Grand Canyon to San Francisco. It was a Saturday, when we started our round in San Francisco. We went to Downtown and there was a St. Patrick Day parade going on.

St. Patrick is a Saint Day actually, celebrated mainly in Ireland and they do all green on this day. Wonder why green ?

After the parade, we walked around Downtown.


Chinatown, we are under the gate. Seems like Chinatown around the world usually have this Chinese gate, Chinatown in Yokohama has a gate too. Singapore's too right ?

Mummy was telling Daddy about the Chinese Funeral she saw years back, about how 大哥大 it looked with all the black stretched limousine, the paper money flying around and band playing the funeral songs etc. True enough, a Chinese funeral parade passed by us. Silly Daddy wanted to take pictures of it.

After some "unlucky" sight, we saw a happy occasion, some opening of a restaurant with lion dance. Feels like Chinese in San Francisco are more Chinese than in Japan or Singapore.

We headed down to the bay area around Fisherman Wharf.

Daddy a lefty in front of a Lefty shop !!! Do you know all these US presidents -Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama are lefties too !!! Is Daddy going to be the next US President ?? haha.... Am I a lefty too ?? I may not be the next US president, but a Chinese Gong Gong told me I am going to be the first Chinese Mayor of San Francisco State in the future !!!

All these pictures of San Francisco were actually over 2 days, the 2nd day we did a scenic drive around town. Entertainment for the day was a spoon.

We went out of San Francisco city and head out to the outskirt. We are now in some neighbourhood of Silicon Valley. Why are we here ? It was Mummy tracing back her memories to the place where she used to work years back.
